I AM A SALFORD FAN, and proud of it. There i said it, come what may I'll be there at the games be it at the Willows, City of Salford Stadium or Buile Hill Park. I'll get my season ticket shirt or no shirt. I'll said in the peeing down rain or glorious sunshine. I'll cheer the lads on whether they win or lose. I'll go whether we continue to play in Superleague or NL1. I love Salford and no doubt always will, when I have kids they will go whether they like it or not . Salford has and always will be a big part of my life. The atmoshere this season has been shocking, sometimes I do feel it rubbing off on me, but then I think in no way shape or form has this been a bad season. Yeah we have an ability to pull our socks up against the big teams but let it all fall down when we play teams around us, but it's one season and our first one back in Superleague at that. Give it time we will get back on our feet again soon.

Unfortunately you cannot run a club on blind faith. If that was the case we would be world club champions. You need a board with a certain amount of business acumen. We are the fans and they run the club. Telling fans with a valid opinion to F*** O** further enhances what other clubs and the RFL think about Salford.

Maybe the people who post telling us we are not proper fans or to F off should wake up. Its amazing how so of many of them are now content to be second bottom when at the start of the season they beleived the chairmans' top eight predictions and best squad for a long time boasts.

Simple fact is we finshed fifth 3yrs ago and like normal Salford sat on our thumbs and went forward by not strengthening.

As to BBM saying to be positive and look at whats good, where is the up to date website (nothing on it about the stadium letter)? the online store? the club shop that has no stock? shall i go on?

As to this season, yes we compete and get beat! have none of you thought that other teams are signing players now and not standing still.

I'd like to think that we're looking to follow in the footsteps of Cas. They had a couple of shock wins last year and got a similar amount of wins, although we could still go on to better their points total.

We were never going to take the league by storm - we lost half our players almost 2 years ago and had to build a team yet again. I think we've done fairly well considering our finances and the situation we found ourselves in.

Castleford deliberatly didnt spend the salary cap last year so they could spend it this year and compete.

We wont spend it this year or next year and you can throw Bradford at me but its simple economics, if a team spends the salary cap they can afford a bigger squad to cover injuries or better players. If you dont spend that salary cap your behind the other already as you going to get injuries, even St Helens do. As Alec Murphy said you pay peauts you get monkeys

And the Cas youngsters want to stay unlike Myler and Turner

I guess that's why Richard Owen just reportedly turned down a new contract and looks like he could be on his way out...

Maybe thats the case and if so i tip my hat to you, but lets not forget the most important part of my last post the SALARY CAP Cas spending it and we wont next year, tell me how we are going to improve compete with the rest when we are starting off at a disadvantage b4 the season kicks off
