I suppose what has been lost by Agar’s little dummy spiting and some of the players feeling sorry for themselves, is why fans actually clapped Celtic the other night.
I, and all the fans I have spoken to don’t expect the team to win every game, and we realise that we may lose a fair few, but as long as we can see that the effort is been put in, the vast majority of us would be happy. The fact is, for the last 18 months this has not been the case. Friday night’s little episode was the fans finally seizing the opportunity to inform the players and coaching staff that the current lack of effort is not acceptable and will jot be tolerated.
Is it true that Richard Agar's favorite movie of all time is Groundhog Day or does he just generally like the same boring s**t day after day, season after season?

Yes it was. As was Castleford. The problem being is that the players are fully aware the next paycheck is there come what may.

Mainly the players I would have thought. Minds on the semi and all that. Far more important to them than a league game they were unlikely to win anyway

I agree - terrible attitude from the players that. No wonder they've only got 2 more points than us and a worse defensive record. Some of our players have much in common with some of theirs. Doesn't reflect well on Tony Smith mind.

The defence and difference in league points are more of a reflection of the period before tony smith took over
The've won 8 of their last 12 league games under smith. If we'd shown the same form we'd be in 4th place.
