You knew in advance what the trust could purchase and donate to the club? I say 'could' because the more members we have, the more/better things we could do and the stronger voice we would have.

So, when all the memberships are up for renewal in February, Forever Reds could publish something, perhaps a totaliser, something graphic, showing what the trust could do when it reaches a certain number of members.

For example:

100 members — Dietary supplements for the Academy squad
150 members — Help towards travel/maintenance costs for the Red Hot Flames
200 members — Kit for the Academy squad
250 members — New tackle bags, balls, cones etc for local amateur teams
300 members — Sponsor another first team squad member promoted from the Academy
400 members — Physio equipment
500 members — Sponsor local amateur team
750 members — Extra piece of gym equipment
1000 members — Extra scholarship place for the Foundation/Academy

A speculative list, but you get the idea. Would something like this encourage you more to join up or renew your membership?

Not much. 2000 members gets us a few Uzis, a used tank and materials for molotov cocktails which can be used for a supporter-led coup.

This is eactly what is needed. I think the lack of members is down to the fact hardly anything is known about what forever reds do ( through no fault of the members ) just that it doesnt get much press. Also surely some free advertising space in the ground from the club isnt too much too ask perhaps a couple of billboards etc

I guess Forever Reds would have to pay for such ad space. Perhaps that's something the trust can factor in as a marketing spend if a certain number of members is reached.

Iain and I did the Willows Road/Weaste Lane gate at the end of the match. FYI I was the one slurring his words.
