Jason Netherton is Mr Average in the Rovers squad. This is not a slight at him as he has served us well and does a job, I just think he could be holding up a space that could allow an academy prospect to come in and develop.
Kris Welham
A[b] new centre. Im not sure Welham is "Top 4" class[/b

We are top 4 & he is one of the reasons! If he comes on the way he should the only problem we will have is can we pay him what he is worth & stay below the cap.

In my personal opinion he is vastly over-rated purely as he has come through our system. A run of the mill Super league player. no more, no less.
ALEX MC- are you mental? one of the most gifted players to come out of our academy, whats this his 2nd full season in super league? yes he still is not the finished article, but we have 2 former internationals at centre in walker and webster, and id have welham b4 both of them, ok maybe not jake but deffo chev

Totally agree with that, Welham has been fantastic for us this season and has so much potential. You can't possibly describe him as average, or if you are then you must consider Webster average and Walker below average.

Disagree I think Welham's had a great season and will get better. Can you remember when he last had a bad game? He's also our second highest try scorer so far this season.
If we get a new centre will they have to fit in with our current centre recruitment policy and have a surname beginning with a 'W'?
Cooke is average, sorry. Wouldnt be missed by me. Fisher I like but a faster more mobile and off loading hooker is needed to compliment.
Walker is pants. How many times am I going to read that the next game is his time to shine. Lazy, run out of line, miss the tackle waste of good cap money.
A good in your face, offloading, metre gaining forward like Mr Crabtree would be welcomed as well.
People harp on about Netherton. Good honest pro but doesnt pull up trees. Wouldnt be missed to be honest.
Forwards these days need to either gain 20 metres or be off loading after gaining 10. Gone are the days of running 5 yards and dropping.

Crabtree doesn't fit that criteria then.
