Your thoughts...?

I half expected us being embarrassed, cup hangover, call it what you will. Makes the trip to France next week a MUST win game...

Not a good result but what can you do? Pick up where we left off last week.

Cup hangover, nothing to see here.

I didn't go the game obviously but I am not too worried about it. Love us to make the final but if we have to do it the hard way, c'est la vie.

even though you lost i expect you to finish second and get to the grand final and i expect we could potentially meet there as well as in the first match of the play offs.

dont be too down about losing in Gateshead we did exactly the same thing a couple of weeks ago.

your still a class act.

That Mcormack is a right bad coach ! ha ha

In all seriousness I would say you lot have suffered from the ' Cup hangover syndrome' and nothing more. Gateshead are a decent side with a cracking work ethic so its no disgrace being beat up there.

Makes for a very interesting finish to the season and I would say the game at Barrow will be a 2nd place decider (if we buck our ideas up)

Fair points lads. Not too worried about this result in all honesty. Not that worried for the rest of the season tbh. What will be will be. Pressure's off so we can feel more relaxed. Still, don't want the team to sit back even if the fans are.

The team couldn't get going today. Our marker defence was awful and Henderson killed us up the middle. Definite feeling of final hangover. Felt sorry for Thackeray, Dodd and Grayshon as they tried hard. Pickersgill didn't get much support up front. Not really surprised after last week. Ah well...

With the added importance of the Trains Cup now , the Cup hangover suggestion is probably fairly valid.

Thunder have had some good wins , but I would have thought the professionalism that Cullen brings should have seen you through this one against a team towards the bottom of the league.

I like toast as much as anyone , but not for breakfast , dinner and tea.
