It was stripped, I'll agree with that. Looked like Snitch's hand pulled away nicely as the ball came loose.
Went with some Saints fans I know, and I was asked before the game started whether I was a betting man, the Saints fan waving his wallet at me. I said not at Saint Helens. Ah well, should have had more faith.
Our defence was fantastic. In the second half, it never slackened in terms of intensity. Great night.

Looked stripped to me too.
Good win tonight. No idea what Stevo is on about regards the JD 'elbow' clearly a powerful handoff ala Gaz Hock v you in the cup.

Difference I think is that JD didn't "lead" with the elbow. He pulled up as Wellens got near, put his arm up in defence, and pushed Wellens away, albeit with his forearm. Looked worse than it was. Cunningham might have a trickier defence, as it was a deliberate strike to the face, although I suspect it was made worse by the fact that it caught Stosic in the eye (that was my guess, anyway). Had it caught him on the cheekbone, it would have been not much at all, I would guess.
Ref was shocking. It seemed like the touch judge reffed the first half. Most of those iffy first half calls came from the touch judge, even though the ref was a few yards away on most. Thankfully, none were crucial.

He's not bent, just garbage at the job, do you think he played at being a "homer ref" last night"?
