No matter how many times I see it I just can't help myself!
A bit like David Batty claiming Real Madrid were interested in him!
No offence to Marchy I just don't buy it.

For anyone to claim David March as a legend for me is wrong, it degrades those who actually were and in our case nearly all came from the team of the 1960's. And before you start I spent the best part of two weeks putting Daves testimonial - why? Because I liked him as a player and he was loyal in the sense that he always gave his best. But a legend, not in this lifetime.
As for the Bradford thing, is that remotely relevent?., How would you know I doubt even Dave remembers it was so long ago.
Wally Lewis was a legend and he did it in 10 games! The reason was simple, he was just bl**dy awesome. You seriously comparing those two?
I know it's all about opinions but I say again, come on!
How the fook do you expect me to compare March and Lewis? I know your an old timer but I certainly am not.
Not exactly claiming he is a legend but of people claim Korky is one March deserved to be a king. Like I said in previous post, I can’t really think of anyone I have seen wear a Trin shirt who deserves the legend tag……..

Been fortunate to have seen three undisputable 'legends' in my time watching Wakefield - Neil Fox, David Topliss and (even though it was very brief) Wally Lewis.
To be honest I don't think anyone else has come anywhere near being afforded that accolade, otherwise it just demeans the term and its status.

Lewis was a legend but not a Wakefield legend.
