Heard today that Ben Cockayne has come down with it, not yet sure if true but no reason to doubt source, I know the bronco's had a problem in Aus with the virus. But if this latest rumour is true ( and as yet it is only a rumour) hope he's OK.

it's certainly in the area. a kid at my daughters school has been confirmed with it, and there is a case at a school in Beverley aswell apparently.

A pupil at my wifes school has been diagnosed with it and half the parents in the school have kept their children off this week. Worrying times.

I should clarify that my wife is a teacher and not a pupil!

Well he doesnt live anywere near here so hed be the least likely person to get it from round here really, but dont know how bad swine flu is in the cas area...

Where you live doesn't make that much difference.

Didn't this strain of swine flu start in Mexico and it isn't only mexicans who have it.

Hopefully if it's true he'll only have a mild strain of it.

One where I work, one where my son goes to school plus a friend of ours. I think September will be the time to really worry when all the kids go back to school, reckon it could get quite widespread then.
