There are plenty quality players out there OOC and there is no excuse for IL not signing one or perhaps two in the positions we need.
This "at the right price" is nonsense.
Other clubs are signing quality players and is at the right price if the deal is done.
The players are there and the money is there, so what's the problem in not signing them?

Please say that is a wind up and you have caught me.
Griffin wouldn't be a good replacement for Coley because he wouldn't be an improvement. You replace players with better ones and I believe Coley is better than Darrell Griffin or at the least on par so I think it would be a pointless signing. Sooner re-sign Coley than go for Darrell Griffin.

How can you seriously say that?
Don't we accept by now that we don't have any accurate information relating to existing Wigan salaries, etc.
Our situation re. the cap is not the same as other clubs, so just saying that 'other clubs can do it so we must as well' doesn't mean anything.

Wigan can't seriously be in for this guy, Coley isn't world class, but he is much better than Griffin

I still think Webb would be the right person for us next season as we are far, far to nice as a team in general.
He may not train the house down or give big motivational speeches but the one thing you can count on with Webb is that he’ll make yards and if, like on Friday, a few head high shots are handed out t to the likes of Tomkins or Phelps Webb won’t hold back or be nice about it like a few of our players did.
I also don’t try to listen to the whole the Aussies say he’s out of form bull as well. If you believe them then you’d have to believe the tripe they’ve come out with in the past
-Jaime Lyon is finished and doesn’t want it
-Talau will never make it at anything other than reserve grade
-Carmont should retire as no one wants him
Or my personnel favourite one is that they tried to convince us that Trent Barrett was finished and injury prone!!!
Every player is different and can find a new lease of life in SL just like Scott Logan did or Leuleui at Leeds is now doing.
Carl Webb is the prop for us imo.
