If our only signings are Griffin and Johnson then the season tickets sales will be down over 1000 again.

At the moment it appears IL hasn't signed anyone.
He's plenty time and plenty quality players out there. He has to be prepared to pay the going rate to sign them. Other clubs are paying it and if we don't then we won't sign anyone!

I think that's what Lenegan has planned, after all he states about only signing quality players so if there none available what do you do, you wait till the right players are available and then you sign them and if it's 2011 then so be it. I'd rather wait till then than sign the above mentioned.

I just hope he does another couple of Gleesons. Proven good players who can be world class and win games. We do not need Thurston, Lockyer, Inglis, they would cost too much, we need a good TEAM. Thats what saints have, a TEAM they actually have so many average players, as shown in the WC.

I would agree, I don't think that average is the correct word it's probably a bit harsh, I would say more superleague quality is right. A prime example of this is Sinfield at Leeds, dependable and consistent with good enough skills to compete at this level but as we know when moving up to an international level he's severely exposed, yet he's good enough for this competition.
