Looking at it that way perhaps your right.

Malcolm Alker 173 - 1123 metres
Scott Moore 172 - 1230 metres
Ben Fisher 165 - 1299 metres
Shaun Berrigan 155 - 1560 metres
Lincoln Withers 151 - 949 metres
Neil Budworth 150 - 998 metres
Matt Diskin 134 - 841 metres
Casey McGuire 132 - 853 metres
Ryan Hudson 119 - 788 metres
Mark Riddell 117 - 1080 metres

So looking at that, if you roughly added half again of what Riddel has done to his stats he'd be on something like 180 runs from dummyhalf with 1600 metres made, only Berrigan and Randall are close(obviously Roby exceeds that). So if we can get him to up his dummyhalf running we could on to a winner.

Wigan vs Leeds finals aggregate score.

Wigan 178 - 64 Leeds

Wigan wins - 6 Leeds wins - 0

Try assists is just 1 but considering we never score up the middle maybe thats not too bad.

Oh

Well I knew it wouldnt be the best in the league, but that is very poor.

Intrestingly for those who love to slate Phelps, he is joint top of our assists with Tommy.

It just depends if that is what you want.

We get criticised for one out rugby.
That is none out rugby, a one man charge.

What I think it does prove is that Riddell mixes up his game better than most, i.e scooting and passing, and is picking the right time to do it.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

I wouldn't say that by running from dummyhalf you play one man Rugby, look at saints both Roby and Cunningham have run from dummy half 190 times or more each, yet Saints style of play is far from boring. The key like you state is picking the right time to run, and for me who runs.

It's pretty naive to assume the only involvement a Hooker has is from scoots. Look at the number of tries scored by our threequarters or the quality of ball the halfbacks and forwards are getting. Trying to assess a player on statistics like that is a total waste of time.

That was the point I was making.
We have scored far more tries wide out this season, and that is without the class of Barrett in our side.

A big contribution to that is the better distribution we've had from dummy half this season, but to be fair it couldn't have been much worse.
