Dont know but there is a big sign just been put up at Keepmoat saying HOME OF DONCASTER ROVERS, what about a sign saying Doncaster Community stadium home of Doncaster Rovers, Doncaster Rugby League and Doncaster Belles or has the Community stadium been sold to the rovers or dont they give a damn about the latter two.
Castle park please open up a discussion with them.

The Rovers are probably putting it up
We used to have a flag outside but that went so now it's just a rovers one
Become part of the Castle Park set up. Not only is the place financially sound and well developed, it also serves great beers (potentially even better this season).

The playing surface looks stunning, there are some photos on the Rovers site. From what I have read on most of the sites, there has been no or very litle comment about the Rugby effecting the pitch. Most of the comment (adverse) was reserved for the ill thought out American Football game. The bad weather (frost) earlier on this year also seems to have been a factor. I understand that the covers the ground staff use are ok down to about minus 4 C but of course it was a lot colder than that. That of course does not affect us (unless you count the usual Hunslet pre season friendly) . Will be interesting to see how these proposed Stadium talks develop. Saying it is one thing, carrying it out is another.

For what its worth castle park looks like a much better set up for your club. The Keepmoat while a fantastic stadium is way too big for your club atm, you have say 6-800 Die hard supporters. Thats too few to be rattling arround in a 20k + stadium and im sure the rent must be a real big slice of your budget?
Just looked at the facilities at Castle park ( http://www.thedemulder-lloydstand.co.uk/ ) and they seem to be a good standard and would help build an atmosphere while still leaving room for growth. If you could negotiate a much smaller rental package for Castle Park then you are currently paying then i dont see how the keepmoat could still be considered an option.
A move like this could kick start your revival next year and even open up an interesting new market ( knights fans ) for potential future support.
Anyhow keep the RL fight in Doncaster going, Its a good club and one that should certainly be saved.
