Don't get me wrong i like Liam Watts and think he has a big future but what i've seen of him this season in the reserves he hasn't been that good. I am though prepared to say its more down to the poor quality of the reserve grade and the players around him more than anything else but to say he is better now than David Mills is way off the mark.

fc were interested in gilmour a few seasons ago, the reason he chose not to move to hull was the location, i guess some players just don't want to up sticks and move east

Good signing for Huddersfield. I think JM's comments about Mannering not being the sort of player we need (in terms of position, not quality!) apply to Gilmour too.
If the net change to the squad is a hooker-cum-halfback in for a prop leaving, I think we will have a good balance.
