Bad as each other these two at Old Trafford, day 2 and a good chance the 4th innings will begin. Worcs 192/5, which is effectively 219/5 with the lead from the 1st innings.
2 days for Lancs to get over 200 runs....oh joy of joys.

Well Lancs made it look easy in the end getting 264-3.Why can't they bat like that more often. This is another game where they've thrown batting points away and if they want to challenge a the top of the league they have to improve 100% on their batting in the 1st innings of games.
Nicely poised at Headingley going into the last day, I was planning on going but the forecast doesn't look to favourable, still a draw will edge us a little bit further away from the drop zone.

Whenever I looked at Sky Sports yesterday they kept calling it a "top of the table clash" between Yorkshire and Durham...I know Durham are top but that's stretching it a bit.

I saw history made at The Oval yesterday. Four different batsmen scored centuries in the same innings for the first time in Championship history. Unfortunately they weere playing for Kent!
Bizarrely both openers, Key and Denly, were run out for the same score of 123 while Jones & Stevens were each out for a duck as four wickets fell for 21 runs, sandwiched by two double-century partnerships.
Surrey's batting ought to be strong enough to force the draw, but Kent are the best team in Division 2 by a distance and I expect them to regain their place in the top division as champions with several games to spare.

Aye, I was chuckling at that too - good to know they do their research isn't it?
Forecast has improved now, so I might go and endure the predictably embarrassing defeat that will follow.

Wash your mouth out!! If it keeps us in the title race I'm not proud to want you lot to win...26 points behind at the minute with half a season to go, if Durham win and go 40 points clear then we're never catching them up...not that we will anyway, but never say never!!
