I was talking to a chap down at Bridgend on Saturday night and he told me he had heard that Salford City Reds were thinking of having a backroom shuffle at the end of this season and if the Wigan Warriors head coach became available he could be on his way to the Willows.

I can't see it myself but you never know in the greatest game now do you.

No no no. It would be the worst move the club could make.

What ? Worse than McRae to buggers up a winning team ?

Noble does that all the time. He has his favourites who get picked no matter what (far worse than McRae in that department), he doesnt like to pick youngsters if he can help it and makes players (again usually the young ones) scapegoats. The majority of Wigan fans want him sacked due to the way he has managed the club over the last few years.

I agree.

The worst thing for our crop of up and coming youngsters would be for Noble to come.

Yeah but he'd have to pick them as we don't have the finances to have 9 non-english qualified players (as they had against Hull KR) do we??

It would mean we would continue our boring, dull brand of rugby though.

If we made changes I'd prefer to see someone with a track-record of playing nice-to-see attacking rugby and not more of the same we've had for the past 5 years or so.

Well said that man!

Saturday was an example of how dull and predictable we have become under Mcrae.
Even in the wet conditions at least celtic tried to play rugby , where as throwing the ball wide seemed an alien concept to some of our lads

I want to be entertained when i go to a game but can anyone actually say were being entertained at the moment!

He was shot in both arms , and both legs. He later died because of his injuries. Tommy 25th March 2007.

Salford City Reds are the National League Champions again and nobody will ever win a Grand Final more dramatically than this. Division One champions, Grand Final winners, winners of the Northern Rail Cup; everything their hearts desired. Down and out? Not a bit of it, they are never out. Memories are made of this forever and a day, Salford fans will ask "where did you watch the 2008 Grand Final? Where did you see John Wilshere save the day with the last kick of the ball?"
