but it says 2008 season prices... not paid in 2008 for 2009 season

it's the 2009 season prices. The PDF brouchure is littered with mistakes.

It actually says in the PDF "• Season pass frozen at 2008 discount prices for 2010 and 2011*"
So....
If you paid for your 2009 pass in 2008 you got your 2009 pass for the discount price of £179 then in jan 2009 that rose to £210? (2009 full price).
If you join the 2010 club you pay the 2008 discount price of £179 in 2009 for 2010 season and again pay £179 in 2010 for 2011 season.
So basically
2009...paid £179 if purchased in 2008(discount price), going up in jan 2009 to £210?
2010...pay £179(2008 discount price) if club rovers member (2010 price of £221 for non members)
2011...pay £179(2008 discount price) if club rovers member (2011 price not yet specified)

So in 2008 you paid discount price of £179 for 2009 pass, in 2009 you paid the Non discount price of £210? for 2009 pass, so it is correct, you will pay the 2008 discount price....not the 2008 season ticket price (which i only paid £174 for anyway)

Should have read 31st July.

Mind you, it does say on the rovers site

Indicating cheaper than £60 before 31st of july or rising in price after 31st july.

Listening to Neil Rudd's interview with James Elston at half time something else concerned me. James said that they are visiting schools and giving free membership to all the kids at every school they visit. Does this mean that those kids who might never have had any interest in Rovers could get a season pass for the East Stand ahead of those of us who choose not to become a member for whatever reason? Yes, we need to attract the supporter of the future, but surely we need to show some respect to the current supporter too

I don't know how the school initiative will work, but if the queue pre and post match is anything to go by the Rovers membership scheme is certainly taking off big style.

No, they would still have to buy a season pass, but would automatically become Junior Robins. Personally I think this is a fantastic initiative by the club.

But as club members they would have first dibs on where they stand, that's the way I understood it anyway.

Any idea how sales are going?
