I think we can write this first test off as a draw to be honest.
Unlikely we're going to get two full days play in and Australia will certainly need a full session or two to build up much of a lead, by which point there is unlikely to be enough time to bowl England out again.

Looking ahead to the next test, the selectors need to pick between Panesar and Swann, and between Onions, Harmison and Sidebottom for the place that Swann/Panesar leaves.
As for Broad, I think we've got to stick with him for the second test. He is bowling poorly at the moment, but he's always had a tendancy to leak runs; you can generally tell how well Broad is going to bowl in a match after his first spell. That said, he does have a handy habbit for picking up wickets, and I think he deserves a second shot on a pitch that will give him some support.

Stuart Broad offers nothing, he's just a bits and pieces player whos in the team because he can bat a bit but his bowling is fodder to quality batsmen. I can see the merit of sticking with young players till they come good but Broad doesn't have anything special about his bowling thats going to Test good batsmen. He seems to have started to think he is a sporting celebrity, stomping his feet and kicking off at Panesar in the field, when really he's a liability to the team himself, remember that stupid stump shying he did in the 20/20.
I would give Onions a go - I'm not convinced but he did get wickets against the West Indies, is he another Hoggard/Caddick or is he just another Johnson/Giddins? Let him have a shot.
Flintoff I don't see as one of the main two quick bowlers, he's a very good support bowler to a strong attack. He never bowls a team out he's good at creating pressure and getting one or two big wickets at an important time. In 2005 he was very good with an attack of Jones, Harmison and Hoggard.
