Well it's a stupid point.
Something is only free if no-one paid for it.
All those tickets were paid for, and the revenue ended up in Wigan's books.

No, i'm not.
He is stating that the tickets were given away for free, when they obviously were not.

He isn't he is saying Heinz bought the tickets and then gave them out, so wigan got revenue from the tickets.
Hence then not being free.

Heinz PAID Wigan for the tickets. Heinz then gave them out FREE OF CHARGE to their employees.
To sum up. Wigan got paid for the tickets but the people who got them, got them for nowt.
