The rules state you're only allowed a certain amount of overseas players, an amount you've gone over.

Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.
Quite sad, really!

Because he brought it up saying he wondered what would happen if you played outside the rules and needed setting straight.

Mate, don't rise to Matty. He always spouts nonsense and for a "die hard" hull fan, he spends plenty of time on the rovers forum. And he thinks the guy in his avatar is Shaun Barrymore lol Ain't that right matty lol

The main point being that there are quota and rules on overseas players (Not that any of us understand them) and if we had too many i pretty sure the rfl would have picked up on it (or been told by someone to check it).
My guess is that he's havin a dig at vella for havin a maltese passport even tho he has australian caps. Hence us havin an extra ozzy. Hasn't one of their signings got a portuguese passport so no visa or quota or summat, double standards me thinks
