Just how oblivious to your own team are you?
You can gloat about going to more cup finals than us recently when you have actually been to more cup finals recently than us
Deary Me!
You miss the point completely. I have an excellent understanding of the game by the way, having watched Warrington for over 25 years (queue the remarks about understanding the game!). I have watched a lot of rubbish in that time. Watched Excellent Wigan/St Helens/Bradford and Leeds teams and appreciated them all. What I was mearly pointing out was that is in the past for Wigan, at this time Warrington in my opinion are a better side (which I have not said in 25 years of watching them). The original poster was trying to get a response of how poor Warrington were and how great Wigan were, hence my posting... explaining that Wigan have not been that good in recent past.

Ever thought thats reason they do it?
The semi is still ages off and anyone with half a brain knows its going to be a tense close match, bit of banter is good but its gone abit OTT in the last week theres a fella on here who been bookmarking anything he gets he hands on.

Yeah, but let him, it's year of the wolf, and tbh, you all know you've already won so there isn't a problem is there?

You suggested that Wire fans being positive annoys us.
I know they do it to get to us.
I am not confident about our chances in the Semi final, I wasn't before the injuries and I am less so now but that doesn't mean we won't win

The allocation was the same. - We sold ours, our fans also bought from JJB and still we get another 700. This is on top of the extra 300 a couple of weeks ago. The allocation was 3800 each, therefore you can only sell 2700 less the ones we have bought from JJB. My guess from the posts on your board complaining about all the wire fans in your queue is a support of 2000 max.
And Wigan fans who think they will buy at the last minute or just turn up are deluded. Its all ticket ! that mean you need to buy one beforehand. If the RFL are giving them to us to sell then that means you wont have any to buy.
Tony Smith made a distinction yesterday between fans and supporters - Fans are the ones who turn up occassionally and are the first to boo and not turn up again apart from the big game. Supporters keep going through thick and thin. Our capacity is 13500 ish and we get around 10000 for most games, fairly consistent. Yours is 24k ish and your support fluctuates between 9k and 22k in a matter of weeks.
Let me know if you dont understand any of the big words.
If you want fickle get on the saints board, they get around an average of 10,000 yet there is a big final on and 30,000 turn up.
Or wire, they take around 100 away to Hull and then there is a huge semi-final on against Wigan and they are selling out the seats, talk about fickle, I know what you mean.
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS

given the time of year, a lot of people will be on holiday or otherwise engaged (personally, id be there but i get married the day before and dont fancy spending my first day of married life in widnes!).
im hoping for a good game and ill be cheering the team on from the comfort of the local pub
as long as wigan play well and dont play like we did in our last cc semi, i dont care who wins

Your mad then, our season is pretty much over if we don't win this game. If we could win the challenge cup it would mean so much to the fans and the club, shirts sales would go up and so would the crowds and it could give us some momentum going into the play-offs to try and get to the later stages of the competition.
