That would be Graham Swales as mentioned in my FIRST post. Do try to keep up at the back.

And you are right it was Geoff Fletcher's wig he flushed down the bog. Now Geoff fletcher was someone you did not mess with a right big rough house. A pure Rl man though But i would hav ethought he was with Huyton then . Unless i am getting two stories mixed up as i remember someone did that to Fletchers rug.

I was thinking of David Jeanes but I wasn't going to post until I could remember the other.

Jeanes & Lyons, what a hard pair they were. Knocked quite a few players out of the way so that Malcolm Branch could score at will! Ah, the Neil Fox years.

I hope DF doesn't come on this board. He was an absolute nutter on the pitch!

Swaz started out at Fartown as a winger and eventually played in many positions inc hooker, loose forwrad and prop.

We were coming back on the team coach after a game at Runcorn in 1988 when Swaz needed a wee. He asked the driver to open the doorr as we went down the M62. Driver says "can't do that mate. here stand behind me and peee out of my window". Time keeper Ken Mosley was asleep and woke up as a stream of liquid went past his eyes on the other side of the window. "Oh Bugger he says. its raining again.

True story about Swaz.
