News Flash...other organisations follow Rover's scheme...Employers are offering their stafff guarantees of wages and holidays next year, in exchange for the staff paying a substantial fee upfront !!! Worker Fred Gullible said "it's a great scheme, I can pay my bosses money now and in return they will give me my wages next year, plus a £5 voucher to spend in the staff canteen".
British Rail are planning a membership scheme, a large wedge upfront now in exchange for no fare rises next year plus a once only £5 off a pork pie & cup of tea, and an additional £5 off a scone & coffee !!!
Hull City Council are introducing an upfront payment scheme of pay £200 now and they will not put up your council tax next year, including priority bin emptying, stronger street lights outside members homes, and discounts in Hull Tourism shop, ALSO an amazing £5 off a "it's never dull in Hull" t-shirt !!!
Spokesperson for Hull KR, Richard Turpin said "By introducing a membership to fans now we can save them £££s in the future, many money can't buy (cos we won't tell ) offers...it's worthwhile for fans to join, honest guv, trust me (cos non-members are screwed ) !!"

Did anyone get a membership leaflet through the post? if so, it says that season pass prices will be the same for 2010 as 2008 prices.. is that a miss print which should say 2009? im even more confuzzled now, or should i look at it again when im not so tired

In 2008 if you paid for your pass early you paid £179 for the 2009 season.
This year, 2009, you will pay £179 for 2010 season
Next year,2010, you will pay £179 for 2011 season
Hence in 2010 you will pay what you payed in 2008, so it is correct.

It also said that current passholders had until 1st July before it went on general sale
