Don't think anyone's said for sure they would have they? Just that it would be nice to have the option of keeping him or Moa if they impress between now and the end of the season. It's only the same as the club renewing Radford's contract so early (which has also been heavily criticised on here), with the added overseas complication. It just seems like the club aren't learning to keep some options open, instead of tying players down when better opportunities might emerge. I don't think that's a particularly unfair view.

Motu Tony and Todd Bryne will have been on quite a bit I reckon and also Yak's deal is rumoured to be reduced.

Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.
Quite sad, really!

I'm with you on Radders, could have gone for someone like Gilmour instead. The thing is Cordoba was never planned to be here to look at, its a last minute thing due to a run of injuries so I don't think the club can be blamed for that tbh.

I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm blaming the club for making a cock-up. Just pointing out that a lot of the current problems can be at least partly attributed to poor recruitment/retention clogging up the squad with too many non-startling grafters, yet we seem to have done a similar rush job with Cusack yet again. What good reason was there to sign him up again so early when he's out injured? We should have waited until at least August IMO, and see what other options are out there (or indeed already here) for our overseas spots.
The only thing I can think is that it was a key factor in Fitzgibbon. And I'd be very disappointed if that were the case.
As daft as it sounds, although I have previously said I think we should only have one of Radford or Tickle, I've now changed my mind. Radford is unquestionably a prop now IMO, so with him being signed up I would actually be tempted to give him Cusack's role and try to better use the overseas spot left.

Radford's no where near up to the standard of Cusack and there is no way Radford could play the minutes Yak does.
