He hasn't he's being injured for the vast majority of the last 2 seasons unfortunatley.

Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.
Quite sad, really!

I think Hull wanted a different style of fullback, but forgot about quality. I'd rather have safe, solid, boring Briscoe waiting under a high ball than somebody who is like Billy Slater/Brent Webb... but s***.
Banter aside - Do you think Tansey will be your first choice fullback next year?

Yes I would have thought so mate, not many other English players (Quota's full apparently) who can do a much better job, unless Rooney comes and Horne goes to full back but I'd rather have Tansey there tbh.

Briscoe can catch the ball and is very solid in defence something which Tony hasn't covered himself in glory with at times. A lot of the people begging for Briscoe have also called for Horne to be full back and now Whiting.
Briscoe is very limited in attack, when joining the attacking line he looks lost and our team has enough 'solid' players as it is. I'd much rather have someone like Webb, Greenshields, Bowen.A player like Briscoe highlights exactly why GB are so far behind Aus in terms of backs, look at Billy Slater compared to Briscoe.
i'm not saying hes the best in the world BUT u telling me u haven't missed him, theres no doubting his quality.
Not bad qualifications for a full back...... solid defence and excellent under high ball

Yeah, that's what I wondered. No harm in having options, tbf. I do wonder if the rumours about Wakey's 'pivots' leaving can all be true.

True, however they are pretty much his only qualifications (plus a decent support game). Shaun Briscoe playing in our team instead of Tony at the moment would only make us worse. We have no creativity as it is and atleast Tony offers something in attack.
I'm not saying Tony is a better full back than Briscoe however he was better suited to our team and Brisoce most certaintly isn't the huge loss some people make him out to be.

Yep, I reckon Rooney will come to us and Cooke will go to Wakefield however think Brough will stay where he is as will Dobson.
Not sure about Horne at full back at all

You lot have said the same about Brough, Cooke, Carvell and now Briscoe, funny that when you had all these playes, you were getting to all those recent finals you keep reminding us of , now please remind us of your onfield acheivements since they left My young lad has forgotten more about the game than you know, take these off then people might stop laughing at you

Since Brough left we've reached 2 finals
Since Cooke and Briscoe left we've reached a CC final.
What about your onfield acheivements since Cooke and Briscoe arrived?
