Celtic Crusaders players Peter Lupton and Damien Quinn have denied reports that the club's players are owed a substantial amount of their wages.

In the last week reports from various quarters have suggested that members of the squad are owed anything up to 75 percent of their salaries last month, but, according to Lupton, the club made a simple error with payments last month that will be rectified this week.
"We've heard the rumours, but all I can say is that this is the first month when the payments weren't right, and the club has told us that it was a simple mistake," said Lupton.
"They've told us that we'll be paid what is outstanding this week, so there are no problems."
Quinn added: "I've read stories on a Hull KR forum that our cars have been taken off us, but it's simply untrue. There are probably a few people out there that would like to see us fail, and that probably explains the rumours."

The more people from Cru / RFL come out the more the rumours come true as far as I am concerned!

i'm not jumping on any bandwagon but it was in national press that the rfl was offering all they could to help them
