But a few of those responsible for this indvidual brilliance - Carmont, Roberts, Tommy - were all either signed or re-signed b IL, so you could say it shows that he's brought the right personnel in after all (as well as hanging onto the youth that is now flowering).
My argument isn't against the players...it's the coaching I'm not keen on. Two wins have quietened the tide of opinion against Noble but looking at the wins shows nothing has changed.
Oh yes, the other try by Joel was individual as well ( he wasn't put through a hole).
We all appreciate the number of players IL has brought on a budget limited by the salary cap.
Where a lot of us are frustrated is that our priority signings should have been prop forwards.
When Noble arrived he presumably told Mo that Fielden would come to Wigan but it would cost a fortune. Mo forked out the money, a world record fee, and we got the then outstanding forward in British Rugby League. Once saved from relegation Noble & Mo signed Coley early 2007 for the 2008 season.
It was evident then to me Noble wanted to rebuild our pack starting with the prioity as we, and he, saw it the front row.
Since then, over two years, we haven't signed a single prop and we've had an underpowered pack ever since.
Unless we sign a quality prop and preferably two then we will struggle again next season to make the eight.
If IL wants us to challenge for trophies then two quality props are an absolute must. We've got real quality in the back row and after that a top quality half back is all we need.
It won't take much at all to put Wigan challenging for trophies, three top quality players, two props and a half back.
And of course, a chairman who'll sign them!
Especially those with no factual basis? Unless you do have a factual basis, in which case why not tell us what it is?
As I have already said, because I don't believe a player of a reasonably young age, playing rep rugby both Origin and National, being chased by several clubs would come over for less than a large sum more than he would of been in Australia. I think it would therefore be more than 200k.
I don't have facts and figures (and never claimed to) I just don't think he would be on less than that. If you don't agree with me, thats up to you and I couldn't care less.

he's told you about 10 times what he's basing his opinion on, the fact that king was a current kangaroo and SOO regular, and going off reported salaries from other players who aren't even in the aus and soo sides make, i too find it unlikely that king will be on less than 200k.
you've come on here saying what are we basing our opinion on, have you got any proof? or is yours just opinions and hearsay as well?

Read my post again instead of picking selective bits and you will find (again) what I base my opinion on. If other people on here can clearly spot it why can't you? Unless you have already seen that bit in which case what are you getting at? I never claimed to have facts but you seem to go on as if I did.
I think your the one that needs a knight in shining armour to save you from further embarrassment
