I agree, seems very strange if true. Even if Cooke was to leave, Brough wouldn't be an obvious replacement.
As for hooker, I think I'd rather see Ellis back at Rovers than play Brough out of position.

Don't know if there's any substance to it but I'd heard wigan have offered big money for dobson due to being turned down by myler and their targets in Oz. Would make more sense for brough to replace dobson than cooke.
Maybe that's why they're keen to tie people in to season pass renewals with the 2010 club before they announce it
