I hope we keep Moa and Cordoba because that's a pretty old pack without much balance of youth. I also hope Burnett can force his way in so we don't have an all antipodean pack.
Oddly enough, I think Internationally we can match the Aussies with our forwards but it's our backs that are nowhere near as good. It seems our backs are going to be entirely English though. I hope Briscoe can fulfill his potential because I think we've already seen the best from the rest of our backs. Hope we do sign Turner too.

I'd say its just the right age for a pack. Especially if you add Washy to that mix. Props tend to be best between the ages of 28-33

Tansey?
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One
I dont think we have seen the best from our backs either, i think with Long coming in we should start to see better service which our backs havent had for a couple of seasons now. Agree that Tansey looks an exciting prospect, as does Briscoe, as does Hall if he plays, but the likes of Raynor, Yeamo and Calderwood will all look better imo next year when Long plays and gives them the service that they should be getting.

The age of the pack doesn't bother me to much , It's the quality that does.

I disagree Dave. You have to be a pretty rare sort to have 10 years of NRL experience not take it's toll on the body. There are several famous examples of props that have done well into their 30's such as Price and Wiki but there are also loads that looked much better in their youth such as Fielden and even Paul King. Even Rauhihi looks crap now. I think we'd all take a James Graham over a Nick Fozzard!

Yes. I think his best form was coming on as hooker for Leeds. I dearly hope he turns into a world class back for us but my hope has not helped much these past few seasons!

James Graham is a world class prop irrespective of his age.
I think the pack that we have built on paper looks awsome and is a huge step forward from what weve had for the last few seasons at least. If we were saying that our current pack isnt tough enough and doesnt lay the platform well enough next years will defo tick those boxes. Cant believe some of the negativity in regards to this to be honest, age doesnt bother me one bit as long as they are quality players.

He looks pretty special as an FB in the NRL currently.
