On reading the report from the Widnes match yesterday in the League Weekly i was totally dumbfounded to read that Tony Fisher is now the coach of Doncaster RLFC. He made several quotes in the paper, so fear not fellow Donny fans the futures bright, the futures Fisher !!

There is a street (a street of only a handful of houses) called Fisher Terrace near Morrisons car-park across the stream which I used to pass on my walk to Tattersfield.......I can't help every time I'm that way dreaming of those good old days.
How old is Fisher now.....is he bringing his zimmer frame?

He moved back to Wales a few years back, from Bingley.

Spoke to him at the Keepmoat last season and gave him one of my memorabilia calendars and he certainly didn't need a Zimmer frame.

He has, of course, managed us more recently than the top flight year
