Whist one is a loan signing (who can be sent back anytime), the other is a knee reconstruction super star on £170,000 per annum ( who hasn't got a visa yet) :wink:

Mark O'Meley is an overseas player currently out long term with a serious knee injury, I believe. If Rovers would have signed him, you guys would have jumped on the "yet another Aussie in at CP" bandwagon and also questioned the wisdom of signing someone with question marks remaining over his fitness. The Roosters didn't hesistate too much to release him.

In saying that, if he does get properly fit for next year he will add some much needed aggression to your pack.

hes a good young talent who can offload. Sometimes he does slow into a tackle when hes up against a big prop and his defence isn't great. Can you send us Peter Fox back in return ???????????? :lol:

YOUNG, i think he's 28 now, hardly old but not a spring chicken.

Where does it say he's having a knee reconstruction? Oh you mean he's having exploratory knee surgery? (which may lead to a more serious knee operation but doubtful it'd be knee reconstruction and even if it is and he doesn't fully recover, his contract would be void after failing a medical :wink:

)

Glad you can see he is a superstar though :wink:
