Brown is also inconsistent. He can be quite good when focused but just isn't most of the time...

I agree. I wouldnt be too fussed on signing either of these players. Also, providing Myler stays, I dont think an half back should be our priority.

i think we should do what ever it takes to sign goulding he as been magnificent since he joined on loan runs a perfect line ever time for a centre..

lets try and get robo back him and ratchford could destroy opposition with a decent pack

I think we should be leaving the SL old boys and NRL has been players alone and get more Goulding's. The sort of young quality player that is not getting in to leeds, Saints, Wigan etc. but would walk into our team. Some will stay and we can build around them and others will move on to bigger and better things, but with a big price tag attached. Win win!

Saying all that I have no idea who these players would be! :D

Priorities are all in the backs for me. We badly need a Centre, Wing and Full Back.

This is what I have been saying for years. A lot of these good quality players are paid very little at the big clubs as they spend a good chunk of their cap money on 'star' names. Many are also disatisfied at their clubs because they are stuck in the reserves, whether they deserve to be or not is often debatable. We should be trying to entice these players instead of wasting money on poor overseas, and English for that matter, has beens.

But if you go after youngsters currently under contract elsewhere then you're hit with transfer fees - the NRL option is probably a lower cost one, partly also because of the rate of the UK £ to the AU $

We need to sign in all positions if we need to progress, either to strengthen or to replace players leaving

We need a FB with fitzpatrick probably leaving us at the end of the season, Tony possible leaving Hull maybe the answer, Wakefield have Grix, Blaymire both FB's cant see them being happy so maybe one of them will be available, with palfrey providing back up

Of our squad Wilshere, Henry, McGilvery and White will all be fit and can cover the wing, Maybe Ainscough will be available on loan from wigan? And with Riley at warrington will probably be available

Centre's, I think we would all be happy re-signing Goulding, Ashley Gibson is OOC at leeds and both can cover Wing, Of our squad wilshere, henry talau can cover, I think paul johnson is OOC maybe worth a look can cover a few positions

Our HB are covered but if myler leaves which is looking increasing likely, Rooney, Jefferies both looking likely to leave their clus

Also seem like Paul will be leaving / retiring at the end of the season, Godwin, Lee would be good replacements both young and have good distribution out of DH, or Moore as cunnigham has been signed up for another season at Saints, interchanging with alker, although i have heard a whisper that, Naylor will be leaving at the end of the season with alker being made assistant, adamson would be appointed captain

Our pack each week never seems to be on top so one or two props would be needed with Stapleton and Leuluai leaving, although would like stapleton to re-sign, Sam thompson has been mentioned would prefer kavanagh from widnes out of the two, O'Carroll from wigan never seems to get a look in, we have also been linked with fielden and korkidas again. If we are to progress i would look at Thackray from hull OOC at the end of the season

With Sidlow, Adamson and Parker, Mossop being mentioned, Tickle leaving hull also Gilmour maybe leaving saints we need this type of player to progress as a team instead of just mediocre OOC that are not good enough for them

As for LF swain seems to have made that position his own also alker can cover, Danny washbrook could be available

throw in a few youngsters and we have a squad that will progress
