We never seem to be in the bidding when these promising young English kids come on the market like Mcnally and Kyle Amor,a couple of promising Cumbrians.

And he's been let go after just 1 season, 1 in which he's showed quite a bit of promise imo

Whiting a few years ago,Briscoe through the youth system,Maloney last year and Turner,have we signed him.Seems to be a bit of a mystery.When good young English players come on the market we should be in the chase.Leeds and Huddersfield always seem to be and they both have good youth systems.

yeah but according to Rule there isn't a name RA doesn't know when it comes to youth players anywhere in the country

I think one of the problems both Hull clubs have is getting young players to relocate over here, as they are reluctant to leave behind family and friends. It's a big step for lads that are maybe still teenagers.

TBF, Agar does have a reputation for spotting promising young players.

Think the old chestnut about people not wanting to come to Hull is a bit dated.Don't think Hull is as bad as most Rugby League towns,well the west side anyway(just a joke)
