I hope it is! If we lose I will have to stay away from the semi-final.

If there's only 2 of us we shall go on the coach. However, if there's 3 we'll probably go in the car - which will leave 2 places.

Anyone?

I'd take one of those seats fella. Otherwise its the coach for me (£27.50)

PM me if you decide to drive

Sing a song of Yorkshire, from the Humber to the Tees
Of cricket, rugby, beer, of pudding and of cheese
I know no other county where the land is quite so fine
England's lovely county. And I'm proud to call it mine

Where shining purple heather stretches far across the moor
And the lapwing's cry above me takes the place of traffic roar
And peace comes drifting gently, there's no place I'd rather be
Than this land of hills and valleys, from the Pennines to the sea

So when I've done my roaming, and when my step grows slow
When heart and mind assure me that the time has come to go
Then let me rest in Yorkshire, for its there I want to lie
'Neath sun and wind and heather... and a gleaming Yorkshire sky

All depends on our Ben. I can't get hold of him - he's on his way home at the moment. I'll know around 1 am. Let me have your phone number & I'll phone you then. [!!!]

Ivor,

I've decided to go down for the weekend now so don't need a lift.

Thanks for the offer though and I'll see you down there.

Hotel booked for Friday and Saturday night £84 based on 2 sharing

Taken from Giants Website today:-

GIANTS TRAVELLING SUPPORT INVITED INTO JESTER CLUB

Huddersfield Giants travelling supporters for Saturdays clash with Harlequins at the Twickenham Stoop are invited to the Quins pre-match ‘Jester Club’ prior to the sides engage Super League Round 20 clash.

Any ticket holder for the match can have a sit down choice of one from 3 lunch courses, including a vegetarian dish, plus free tea and coffee for only £8 more per adult and accompanying children (U-12) @ £4.00 a head. They will also have an exclusive bar up to the beginning the second half.

Huddersfield Giants and all Rugby League supporters are welcome to pay on the door, first come, first served, where all paying customers will be served on a rotating table basis, (up to a maximum 300 in total for any match). No pre bookings or reservations.

There will be exclusive pre match interviews with players from the Harlequins Super League squad and special guest appearances. Everyone will have a chance to get their hands on both Huddersfield Giants and Harlequins merchandise, exclusive to the Jester Club, if they choose to participate. There will be a host of special match day information for home and away fans alike.

Young, old, new, RL enthusiasts and families from Harlequins and Huddersfield Giants are all welcome. Any Match day ticket holder can pay £8 for an Adult, £4 for Children (U12) on the door, for entry and food, first come first served, plus some fun and a warm welcome pre match. Credit Cards can be used.

To ensure you have your place, Harlequins advise that supporters should arrive early

Sounds agood deal to me. My party are already booke din for pre match food at The Stoop. The quality and value is as always excellent. I spoke to a few people who ate in the Jester Suite at the Cup game and they thoroughly recommended it.

I will now tell you a story if you promise not to laugh.

My trip to Quins thsi weekend is as always full and is not just a trip to see the Giants but also a weekend holiday as well. For the return journey on Sunday I have booked a trip on a canal barge in Warwickshire. The barge is decorated in Claret & Gold ribbons and balloons and has draught beer and toilets so what more could you wish for. I sent the cheque off 2 weeks ago as arranged and all is well in the world.

I have just taken a phone call from the Barge owners to tell me that it was stolen yesterday, complete with tables, chairs, fully stocked bar, crockery & cutlery - the lot. If any of you driving back up North on Sunday afternoon drive over a canal look out for 48 Giants fans paddling canoes and looking for our boat we have paid for. :DEPRESSED: :SHOOT:

Sorry, thats just a classic and you have to laugh...

Cant see there being much market for stolen canal barges though, surely?
