what about a youth development officer, going around schools and doing coaching and getting the young uns into the willows. Also do we have any form of coaching school where kids can come and do a course on rugby skills. Maybe like a weekend course or a 5 day course whilst school is out. They could meet and greet the team learn playing skills you could even incorporate some form of healthy eating stuff in there, give them a goody bag and a free ticket an bobs your uncle, more money for the club and big Phil gets a job, could boost numbers too.
Phil has looked a shadow of himself this season - considering his size he doesn't have anywhere near enough the impact that he should have. He's a great professional and I wish him all the best wherever he ends up next season
Spoke to him this morning at a local amateur team his eldest son plays for and he has heard nothing about it, and found it very amusing to be honest. Don't read everything you read in the papers...
