Swap / Replace
Fielden for David Ferriol Tim Smith for Rangi Chase Cameron Phelps for Richard Owen George Carmont / Phil Bailey for Michael Shenton
I know a lot of people will say they are on contract etc etc etc
But i think these additions will bring the cap down plus improve the team 10 fold.
I have this vision of BIG David Ferriol running forward hit drop play the ball with Rangi Chase and LeuLeui behind him quick play the ball and were away. Then when we have gain ground ship it out wide to Sam who will bring in the second rowers and class centres gleeson and shenton.
Sounds good to me.
GIVE ME THE JOB!
i'll give you the first two but the only player i would Phelps for is Briscoe, i would retain Carmont for another season myself

Judas Priest's Tyrant, better than anything The Killers, The Script & The Black Keys could ever come up with
Kidwell didn't do too much when at Wire.
Although in that Tri Nations in 2006 I thought he was superb for the Kiwis.
What's bothering me is the recruitment, or maybe lack of it.
Noble we all believe is going, has IL got his replacement yet or is he still
looking? Surely he'll have someone by now if Noble is on his way.
If Noble goes will Fielden follow him to his new club? Fielden may go too.
Bailey and Coley are OOC, so who's replacing them? Smith is going, anyone signed there?
Its all very well us saying who should go and fantasy league taking over as far as signings are concerned. IL's record over quality signings is not good. Only Gleeson I would consider real quality out of all he's brought in.
No use us letting players go, especially experienced ones, if IL can't sign better players to replace them.
If we can't sign better then keep the ones we have.
This recruitment is becoming a worry. Once again other clubs appear to be strengthening and we are not improving our squad at all.
We need 2 forwards and a half back before we can consistently challenge the top 2.
1-A pack leader Somebody for the other players to look to when things aren't going well. Strong in defence, consistent go forward, plays long shifts and is tough as they come. Someone in the mould of Bryan Fletcher is needed. If we are to buy a prop to be the pack leader I would love us to get Steve Price or Nathan Cayless but Price is very unlikely although surely we could tempt Cayless over? If it is to be a 2nd rower to lead the pack Nathan Hindmarsh would be the best candidate for me. Great player, real role model to younger players.
2-Hard, good go forward Another forward to replace what Hock gave us, a threat. If its a prop, Ferriol, Tronc, LMS (not quite sure who he is though) are the guys we should be looking at. If its a back rower I would love to see Frank Pritchard over here because I really think he would tear it up. Someone who will give us a hard honest shift making a load of metres and getting through a lot of work would work wonders in our pack.
3-Quality half back A player who can get us around the pitch, help convert territory into points and most importantly for me get us over the line in those close game. There doesn't seem to be anybody good enough available and the only English half back I would have would be Myler (as long as we got some forwards to protect him and Sam)
If we do this then I genuinely think we would be up there challenging (and probably winning) some trophies. Mix all that together with replacing Fielden and using his money well, hopefully bringing back Briscoe at some point in the future and bringing through the youngsters well and there would be good years ahead.

Were probably not at panic stations yet, but the signing of O'Meley for Hull again is another option down, although I did read O'Meley's having a knee operation before coming over so he wont play again this year which may be a little bit of a risk for Hull.
If we have signed players for next year which we may well have done, why aren't we announcing it, what's the reason usually when you sign a player you shout it from the roof tops and it gives the fans a boost. My feeling of why we haven't announced anything is because it may let players who are off contract with us no they wont be renewed due to new players coming in there position.
If we haven't signed anybody, like I've already mentioned numbers are dwindling and probably so is quality, so Lenegan had best get his act together and deliver, and not Griffin.
Wigan vs Leeds finals aggregate score.
Wigan 178 - 64 Leeds
Wigan wins - 6 Leeds wins - 0
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!
He's nowhere near the same player when he was at the Bulldogs and even then I thought he was overhyped a little and isn't the prop we need, would have been a bad signing IMO from what I've seen of him over the last couple of years. We need a Steve Price, Carl Webb or Petro style player, O'Mealy is just another impact player.
