Don't get me wrong, it is an increase and a discount we got for nothing last year, we now have to pay for. However, you would expect between 2008 and 2011 pass prices would increase, but assuming they stay at £220 thats £84 saving for a £60 outlay plus the other advantages and discounts the membership brings.
So if it's actually cheaper than the benefits you get, why are the board doing it now in the middle of the season? Are the rumours true that they have cash flow issues and need a chunk of cash in fast? Just seems very strange to me to suddenly launch something like this at very short notice 2/3 of the way through the season
