Where has the shed gone I was looking around on fri and just seems the atmosphere has dissapeared. No bring on the salford at the start no chanting through the game take me home willow road or I see the salford reds are rising.

Everyone seems to be whinging where is the commitment from half the players. When I think some people need to be looking in the mirror !!!

SALFORD TILL I DIE, I'M SALFORD TILL I DIE, I KNOW I AM I'M SURE I AM, I'M SALFORD TILL I DIE !!!!!!!!

The Shed was dire last week but there are far too many "factions" in there these days. I stand right in the middle and there are some right kn0bheads in & around me (Fat Geordie, Weasel Boy & that Vicky Pollard gobsh1te who has ranting last week to name but a few  ). I'd rather not join in any chant started by any of those and I'm guessing a lot of fellow fans feel the same.

Seems like a lot of the passionate fans on this forum stand in different places around the ground (understandable if you've got kids etc). For me The Shed should still be one of the most intimidating stands in RL. IMO, I think the atmosphere has suffered since away speccies stopped coming into The Shed. When I started watching Solly back in the early 90's I loved the games against Leeds especially because it felt we were outnumbered about 3 to 1 even in "our" stand. Yes there was the odd scuffle but both sets of fans were trying to outdo each other with the singing which made the atmosphere great. Now you're lucky if you get half a dozen away speccies in there who tend to move at half-time because they get threatened by some scrote who thinks they're ten-men.

Now Stains at home is as big as they come and if we can't as fans get up for this one then we should hang our heads in shame. If it all goes t1ts up after 5 minutes and it looks like we're going to get a real hiding then that's even more reason to get behind the team. Let's show the rest of Super League that we are the best and most loyal fans in RL and get behind the boys 100%, win or lose.

chrismum just happened to point out that quite a few said let's make the Hudds game devil night and there were 2 of us who made an effort with our kids and the rest bottled it!!!!

You've said each to their own and yet had a pop at chrismum. Live and let live eh? I respect your right to dress in what-ever you like especially at the weekend  Remember it's sometimes good to dress up

Oh and by the way... I thought the idea of the forums was to debate things not arrange fights irlamreddave! I enjoy a good arguement.... always have..... but not into fighting while you hold our coats

So I can't have a go at people who dress up yet you can have a go at the rest of us for "bottling it"? And as for having a pop, I was merely pointing out the stupidity of claiming people had "bottled it." It was a ridiculous notion, let's be honest.

A fancy dress party is a slightly different proposition, although I'm not keen on them, either. Just put me in a room full of booze, that'll do. And it's none of your business what I wear at the weekends.

Anyway, we've dragged this way off topic. One thing we can agree on is, no matter what you're wearing on Friday, we can still all get behind the team with equal voice. Let's make it hostile for the scouse f*ckers!

I quite agree. At our age now is the time to behave as we want to (so long as no one gets hurt etc). You get past the stage of caring what others think and just enjoy life.

It was just a joke. Lets just get on with supporting the reds in our own way then eh.My lad will wear his mask and bring his trident again and you can be "a proclaimer" apparently  see king of birchwood post. Whatever we do lets make sure it is loud. i could hear the take that concert last week from OT.

I only said the ones who had intimated that they would go as devils had bottled it not everyone. I didn't expect everyone to go as devils FFS that would look silly

really tho I do wish people would actually read what has been said in these posts. the number of times people jump down your throat for saying something. I think i've been mis quoted more times than Steve Simms

I agree 100% with all you post, H.B Red eludes to swine Flu contact, think most of our fans have contacted WHINGEING FLU of late & need a bloody good dose of something to sort themselves out.

To be fair the moaning has worked as it has resulted in a much needed stadium update and special offers on saints tickets for season ticket holders. So it can be useful sometimes.

A fiver for people who are invited by a e-mail.
My wife has got these type of offers for every game.
I have also got them and I am a season ticket holder
