Would rather keep Coley for a year although rumour has it that Warrington and Harlequins are after him. Wish it was Fielden that was going. His wages pay at least what 3 of our current props are on combined.
And for that reason I believe it would be more beneficial to the club to agree a compensation package with Stuart Fielden and release him.
Short term and long term I believe it would benefit the squad more than keeping him in the side.

Take it Briers won't be going there now.
Unfortunately for me I work in Warrington, and the latest rumors to come out are Briers to stay for an other 12 months, Along with Myler and Sinfield joining them, ho and Moi Moi (sp).

Gota love em.
Lockyer was signing last week!
Myler will sign and Monaghan will go home, anything outside of that i'm not too sure about.
I very much doubt Sinfield leaving Leeds. If ever there was a guy that will be a one club man then it's Sinfield.

Regarding the whole prop situation, if there isn't anybody available of the right calibre we shouldn't sign anyone, unless it's on a 1 year deal, and wait till 2010 when by the sounds of it there'll be more choice. I would however bring in Cayless as I feel he'd be right for us, but Tronc I hear mixed reviews and we could be lumbered with another waster.
As for the halfback I made my feelings felt earlier in the thread, that we should pull out all the stops to get Myler, I know people say he's signed for wire but nothings been announced and it's only strong rumour, it's my opinion that someone else as well as wire are attempting to get Myler from Salford, and this is why nothings been resolved yet.
Wigan vs Leeds finals aggregate score.
Wigan 178 - 64 Leeds
Wigan wins - 6 Leeds wins - 0
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.

IMO Tronc is just now beginning to show signs of the good form he was in prior to his KNEE RECONSTRUCTION in 2007.

I have heard from a Leeds season ticket holder and someone who has some friends at the club and that is a very strong rumour circling Leeds regarding Sinfield linking up with Smith again at the wire.
I read Tronc was averaging 120ish metres per game and about 25-30 tackles per game this year which in a league thats tougher to gain ground in is very impressive.
If he carried on with that form over here i'd be more then happy to go for him.

You can't say things like that on here. Its a proven fact the salary cap does not allow anybody to pay players too much - although to be fair I think Stuart Fielden or Karl Pryce would have been better examples than Matt King if you did want to argue the concept.
