I'll be there in the shed TBH I cannot fathom out the place this season, it's been like a morgue one week then rockin' the next.
Admittedly we haven't seen Salford at their best this season at Home yet we have seen some exiting younger squad members cement their place in the first team , beat Warrington at Home and Hull, Huddersfield & Leeds away. We have I think 6 home games out of our remaining ten fixtures ( not including any potential play off games from out top 8 position )
so we should by rights be the typical 14th man out there supporting our team and giving the opposition some stick, Players always quote the Willows as a difficult place to play due to the atmosphere created by the home support , now it seems we're more well known for applauding the away team off the pitch ( especially when their own fans haven't bothered to turn up ).
All this talk of new stadiums & franchises has got us all giddy, the club haven't helped:- loading us with impressive future plans and 'just around the corner timescales ' in order to build up support has in fact backfired big-time , giving us unrealistic expectations, unnerving existing support and effectively ' killing' the feelgood atmosphere built up from last seasons NL1 run & franchise application success.
Team wise the dodgy florida trip and now the 'will he won't he 'Myler soap opera will be having an effect on team moral . no matter what has been said.
So it will be nice just to forget about all that S-H-1-T for the time being and just look forward to a simple game of RL ,lose me voice shouting for the red arrrrmy and wishing for a good ol' against all odds giant killing at the expense of our plastic scouser friends from up the east lancs.
