I would beg to differ, on his own he can turn a game and win a game, look at how many times you lot totally fluff it in the final third of the game, you need a player like that, and not one of you lot can persuade me otherwise.

A fit Brad Drew is worth every penny, as Hudds have found out to their cost. They could not get him back quick enough. I'll bet there is a few close games that you have lost where Drew would have made that difference and turned them into wins. You have to pay for class.

we arnt doubting his ability it is there to see ive been impressed near on everytime ive seen Drew, his line speed handling and evasion skills along with his vision is excellent. the question is, is he work 120K i dont think he his, id say if you have offered him that much he would be foolish to refuse it, as a club Cas need to get a proper wage structure sorted instead of panic bidding on a player we need or even have. and going on rumours of our players wages so far they have a lot of work to do.....
I know its only supposition but supposing Drew had played for Cas all season and because of him you had say a further 8 points with his experience from the games you have thrown way at the back end of the game, would it be money well spent then? If some of the players' at our club are on what they are reported to be on then Brad Drew is worth every penny.
Although Drew would be a great signing, personally I'd prefer us to invest in the future rather than waste money on players who only have one season left in them

a double edged sword, yes the points would be worth the money, but the club would be setting down another marker in respect of wage bill's one that they need to get rid of, they payed in my eyes too much for Sherwin considering his age, his agility was never in question in Auz but here he was working off a clean sheet and so far with injuries we have lost out big time, if he was looking for the big money and was willing to back himself and his rep, the club should have looked at some sort of bonus wage which provided him his potential earnings if the game time had been done. Mcgoldrick is reportedly IMO on wages way above his worth, Widders dont even go there dont know how much he is on but jeez a 3 year deal, the club just seems so desperate, or the coach is i cant make my mind up. but we need to sort out a proper stucture so we dont get into this mess and we can get a bigger stronger squad which doesnt eat up the wage bill so easily.

Here we go another accountant who aparently works in the wages department of Cat Tigers RLFC. Other than the length of their contracts you have absolutely no idea how much money these players, or any others are earning. All you can do is speculate the same as all the rest of us. Why then acuse the club of making a mess of the wage bill, when you have absolutely no idea what it is
Foe example how do you know that Shifty isnt on a wage + bonus salay scheme
Club may seem desperate to you, but to me we apear to be moving in the right direction, cast your mind back to some of the australians we had the season we were relegated, that was a waste of money and turned into desperation

so proove me wrong then just as much i cannot provide actual wages, (there are lots of musings of how much players are on and theres no smoke without fire and id say they werent far off) neither can you!!!
were moving in the right direction are you sure of that. never mind some of the Auzzies we had when we were religated what about last year Harbechet or whatever his name was class that lad was.........i dont mind the club flashing the cash (seems so wrong saying that where Cas is concerned) as long as we get quality, not 30+ year old journey men looking for the last paycheque signed for rediculous long term contracts........we are reported to have an abundance of natural home grown talent in the reserves but we never blood them. instead we have 30+ year old overweight secondrowers playing in the centres. soz mate but if were looking for the future we could at least give the future a chance.
and i dont know if Shifty is on a game bonus but if he is he'll probably need a hand out, anyone fancy having a whip round for some spends for him........
