I don't know why I haven't realised it before but you're right. All things Wakefield related is far better than anything else ever.
You go on about how we're deluded for getting excited over our young players and how they look like they have a promising future and then promptly do exactly the same thing with your own. Only there future will be promising +1.
We have seen Westy play and our excited about his potential. Let us be, you can be excited about Ferguson and we wont stop you.

And as for ferguson and westerman, you yourself have said that 'westerman looks the most promising for a long time' so your either a hypocrite or an idiot, my moneys on both.

Thats the key word in this instance promising. He is a very good prospect, but as yet is not the end product. Having said that I wouldnt mind him at Wakey, better off letting him get on with his game and not put extra pressure on him by bigging him up so much he's only young with plenty of time on his side.

is it not good for the game that both clubs have good young players instead of the second rate poop from oz both teams have had in the past?????

Could not agree with you more. At Cas you are very fortunate to have the young talent you have and I am sure you are the envy of most clubs. The problem you have is that they are developing very quickly and I wouldnt mind betting that they are on the radars' of some of the so called bigger clubs, and it might test the club's resolve and be difficult to hold on to them. We have at our club 2 or 3 that are catching the eye but dont really want to say no more on that as its only rumours.

I dont think anyone on saying that westerman is the finished article, just that he's a bright young talent and that he already achieved more than most would have thought possible, a few years ago he made his debut and became a regular for the rest of the season and went on to win nl1 player of the year. Year after is a regular starter in his first year in sl, is the top try scoring forward in the league and win sl young player of the year. This year he has again been a regular in the side (barring his head injury) and got another call upto the england squad. All people on here are saying is that they are proud of what he has achieved and that there excitied about his amazing potential. For some reason vastman has a problem with any cas fans having anything good to say about cas youngsters, he even says we are overhyping our youngsters when fans from other clubs start threads to say how much talent they think certain yougsters have and how great they (not we) think they will be.

I wasnt implying that Cas fans think he is the finished article and as you rightly say they should be proud of them. In Westy, Owen and Shenton you have 3 potential gold nuggets' and as I have said in my previous post the operative word is potential. That they have in abundance and hopefully for themselves and the club they will go on and acheive that potential, but at the moment they are still learning and imo need to do this without undue pressure putting on them. BTW Vasty is a big man in every sense of the word and he certainly does not need me to speak for him.

Is TM and the coaching team capable of doing that ? i don't know, you guys closer to the club may have opinions on that.
Well he has got Shenton and Westerman an England call-up, Owen isn't too far away and there are a few good young ones in the academy set-up. As stated previously, some players respond to different coaching methods.
I wouldn't bother reading this bit, there is nothing interesting, witty or insightful down here, just this collection of boring words explaining that you really are wasting your time browsing this signature in the vain and futile hope that there will be a nugget, nay, a veritable goldmine of witticisms or divine philosophy. In reality, all you're going to get is disappointment, a sense of hopelessness and a random word.
