Just been in touch with my local MP and he’s unfortunately been in a road traffic accident. But his PA got in touch and she mentioned that my Better Match Day Experience Fans Association sounds like the kind of thing that I expect Paul would be happy to lend some support to.

Heres a tip for you Damo, the next time your MP's personal assistant tells you that she's sure its something he'll be interested in and they'll be in touch, just pretend that you've put the phone down but stay on the line - I guarantee that you'll hear your MP whisper "has he gone yet" followed by a silence and her saying "yes I think so", if you're lucky you'll catch the end of "thank fook for that" just before she hangs up.

Not all Mps are the same as the ones that get exposed in the paper!
