Looks like a few club's are after Myler including us, and were also supposedly after Jordan Turner, Salford fans wont be happy if we were to take both. :D

Turner would be a very good signing, i think this lad has a massive future in the game.

Was just going to comment on this , the guy was homesick last time he was here, so there is no chance of a return unfortunatly.

Oh god, someone needs to take IL on holiday before he sees the opportunity for another "value, project, favourable contract" signing.

In other words - a crock.

And the highlight of his time at Wigan was just about outpacing the slowest fullback in superleage....

Personally I think he's a better long term prospect than Myler. Can play in all positions across the back line including loose forward and a good attitude to go along with it.

But is he needed with Lee Mossop, Liam Farrell and maybe even Mark Flanagan?

Yes, long term i think he could go on to replace Locky as our 13, but in the build up to that time would be happy to have him in the centre or even as a cover at 6. I have had the pleasure of working with him and the lad is all quality.

Even Hanley has drawn comparisons between himself and Turner which is clearly an indication of just how well he is thought of in the game.

I assume he'd play for us in the threequarters, rather than back three due to strong competition, rumours were about that Turner was going to Hull FC so we'll see. It I'd be such a nice change were two of are three possible signings young British players rather than Aussies. There's little doubt that the prop will probably have to come from overseas, but if we can fill the rest of the positions with young British players the better.

Regarding Myler, I wondered a while back if more than just Warrington were battling for him, after all you would have thought with no competition they would have had it all wrapped up by now, I wonder whether with the announcement that Tomkins has signed a 5 year deal whether Lenegan will now switch his attention to getting Myler on board to partner him.

Wigan vs Leeds finals aggregate score.

Wigan 178 - 64 Leeds

Wigan wins - 6 Leeds wins - 0
