Although he does regularly play on the right side, I actually think he could become a quality central midfielder. His work rate and defensive qualities are brilliant, if he could just sharpen up his distribution and composure he could surprise a few people.
Good signing for United, would have liked him at us.

Who would you play on the opposite wing to him?
I'd let Nani have a go, never been given a run of games, we can afford a bit of a luxury with Valencia having the ability to track back, either that or see how Tosic does

The Nani haters would have a field day with that. Every wrong move they'd criticise. I'm glad I've given up my ST, I'd have the urge to chin a few of the know-nowts round me. I agree though. Forgot all about Tosic tbh, still looks a little lightweight still to me, but seems to take a cracking corner! Looking forward to his pal coming over in January too. He seems to have something about him from the limited things I've seen / heard.

I think he has all the attributes, just helpful at decision making.
So Tevez goes from complaining about being 3rd choice at United to being 4th choice at Citeh behind Robinho , Santa Cruz And Eto.
He was shot in both arms , and both legs. He later died because of his injuries. Tommy 25th March 2007.
Salford City Reds are the National League Champions again and nobody will ever win a Grand Final more dramatically than this. Division One champions, Grand Final winners, winners of the Northern Rail Cup; everything their hearts desired. Down and out? Not a bit of it, they are never out. Memories are made of this forever and a day, Salford fans will ask "where did you watch the 2008 Grand Final? Where did you see John Wilshere save the day with the last kick of the ball?"

I guess you know the formation we are playing and Hughes' plans for using Tevez.
I would guess that he is going for a 433 (with Tevez, Eto'o and Robinho as the front three).
On the subject of Eto'o, there is going to be a little twist by the sounds of it. There are rumblings that Eto'o is looking to try and extract a loyalty payment of about £10m from Barca before he leaves. I don't know much about this but it is alleged that Eto'o will turn to Barca and state that he doesn't want to leave. I woudl imagine his aim is to force their hand. If Eto'o doesn't leave, Barca will struggle to pay the fee for David Villa. I guess we will see.

It sounds to me as if Barca are keener to see him go than the player himself. They see his contract running out and are more interested in Villa as he is likely to be there for a significantly longer period of time.
I believe City have said that they will not be offering the sky high wages as suggested and they would be in line with Robinho's as not to cause player unrest. All very sensible and I applaud that but it might just tip the scales against us getting our man.
Personally, I would be very surprised if he signed for us. The vibes from Spain are not good.
