Crigg under 9's beat eastmoor 32-28 . The lads were 16-0 up in the first half and cruising but then ( and this always seems to happen !!) there seemed to be a lot of penalties to eastmoor on the last tackle - which stretched to 7 at some points- but nevermind eh!
Great game to be honest and neither side let themselves down - looking forward to a lie in on a weekend now though

cas panthers u9s season ended in a sorry state after losing 24-6 at stanningley, the scoreline isnt important to what went off on the field and from the touchline.
i dont want to go into to much detail other than to say that two of our best players were subjected to something no player should go through with one player needing medical attention.
today i brought my team of 9 year olds off the field and wanted to walk away but my players refused to be beaten and finished the game despite been subjected to awful treatment.

your lads are a credit to you, coaches who let their own players get away with tactics like that are despicable and need removing from their posts immediately, don't mind kids giving it rough but i can only imagine what as occurred .
hope the lad who needed medical attention makes a swift recovery in time for the gala and that he realises that they only do that out of fear of the opposition skill.

disgusted at reading this ... Don't know you personally , but from what I've read on your posts and from what I've witnessed when our lads have played you , your attitude as a club is bang on and I wish everywhere else was as welcoming . These stories must get back to thepowers that be , but nowt seems to happen . There's too many excuses about where people come from etc. But that's absolute bo@;ocks - to some it's just win at all costs and stuff the rest . We could of easily been beaten by eastmoor today and the reffing could have been questioned long into the night, but nothing like you've had today was likely to happen.
These are 9 year olds and these ars&holes are going to put loads of them off the game , including some of their own

played them at home so they provided the ref .
The thing is .... They've just got to win - nowt wrong with that - but win fair for Christ sake- 4 sets in a row on our own line ,offsides, head high tackles , incorrect play the ball - it's just what you come to expect when you play them . Anyway from what has happened at stanningley today makes this sound v. trivial
not to sure on how many age groups but the 9s are there for deff
this was a fantastic event last year and im sure this year will be no different .
how did the gala day go, did steve put him self about
I had the morning at school with lewis cooking with lewis I can now do a quality quiche and then had to stop with the little one while mel went to look at tats
