Well in any case, the French commentators violently criticised the ref for the fairness of these and other decisions which is never good for the publicity of the game.

It is true Toulouse did not play to usual standard, but the injury of N. Wynn and the move around in the line up which followed (Bromley scrum half and Planas full back) did not help. They looked out of shape today. Wynn got a shoulder injury so he is unlikely to play Thursday, and I'd expect a significant defeat in Barrow.

After today's match, it looks like they will need to hire other good French players to compete for the top spot. I think in particular that they need a good winger.
