A dire effort tonight. The game itself was no spectacle and the team with more spirit, invention and pace deservedly won. Also of concern was the atmosphere. Granted we had nothing to get worked up about (maybe the Ref) but really this is the problem with no relegation. Games are meaningless at this stage as we are not going to reach the play offs playing like that and of course we are not going down. Wins against Leeds Bradford Wire and Hull in the cup are obviously highlights but it just feels that the season is winding down already.

simple summary of tonights game. AWFUL. They were poor, we were worse and don't get me started on Ben Thaler again. In any other industry if the paying customer made a complaint they would either get a refund or the problem would be put right. In all the years I have watched Rugby League the referees if it is possible have gotten worse and yet nothing is ever done. If i did my job that badly I would be sacked. And before anyone jumps on me and says I can't blame the ref, Salford are no better.
We were battered by an average team who didn't even play to their best
Wilshere had an absolute mare, why did he let that first bomb bounce? It must have landed about 3 feet in front of him with no Hudds player reakky pressuring him
How many pens did Swain give away? And Walton seemed determined to catch him up in his spell. Penalty count in the first half was crazy. How Thaler missed the spear tackle by Shudds and had to be told by the touch judge i've no idea
Huddersfield at home is always the fixture i least look forward to. Even when we used to win it would always be an awful game and tonights was one of the worst games i've ever seen. We played like amateurs who'd never met before and they played little better

I dont blame him for wanting out but hes going so why have the same situation as 2 seasons ago when we played half the season with players who had signed for other clubs and didnt give a poop!
All this problem with the stadium cant help matters but i am certainly glad i did not waste 18 pounds to watch what i think is a very poor side. we will never get anywhere with simms signing the players and mcrae as coach

the only team trying last night that came from salford was langworthy reds under9 s at least they put plenty of effort in , and why isnt lewis palfrey been given a chance ,2 tries 4 goals setting up tries , is it because he isnt an aussie or kiwi ,
