Would be a disgraceful signing
Give roversa decent young englishman, sign in a hasbeen kolpak. Great smashing super.

They don't have to play them though. Esders, Watts and Spaven are in the first team squad and have played 1 SL game between them this season. Complying with the squad composition requirements is one thing, doesn't mean they have to field homegrown players. Plus the latest RFL fudge on overseas classifications makes it easier to rely on overseas players.

More of that good old blind optimism ????
I can't help feeling that the Kite, Lyon, Atkins etc..etc.. rumours will just fizzle away and we'll end up making a couple of very underwhelming signings whilst retaining a few players who nobody else wants.
I obviously hope that I'm very wrong but I'm getting that feeling of de ja vu which I tend to get most seasons with regards to Hull FC.
THANK YOU Mr. PEARSON, FOR RIDDING US OF FCKWIT FUBAR, CEO TOOL AND THE STINKING UNCLE KATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY DON'T THE DOBBINS PLAY IN GREEN SHIRT, GREEN SHORTS AND GREEN SOCKS IN ORDER TO EXPRESS THEIR INFINITE ENVY OF EVERYTHING BLACK AND WHITE??

The clubs most recent signings are:
Luauki
Fitzgibbon
Long
Tansey
all for me represent very good signings. If we sign two more of an equal ilk, i will be quite happy.

My apologies to all for being rosy and possitive.
Hmmm, personally I see two ageing players being released by their clubs (who obviously feel their best years are behind them) to secure lucrative deals as a reward for previous service.
Lauaki is the type of player that is useful if his pack are on the front foot, I would have thought the acquisition of a front rower that could get us on the front foot would have been more important.
Tansey has shown nothing to suggest he is anything other then average.

Wrong,Wrong,Wrong,Wrong Long was not released he was offered a one year deal and Fitzgibbon told Sydney he wanted to come to Hull, 4 good signings and two more to come.

You thinking Lauaki's a halfback or something?
As a big-ass forward he is precisely the sort we need for getting us on the front foot, that will be his job along with our other forwards. He won't be coming to play on the back of others, so I don't get what you mean.
