If you don't want to come next year don't bother. Those who enjoyed themselves will do no doubt.
I know he's on about the game in Bridgend. The point I was making was that, in your precarious position, you should be welcoming away fans (who do so much for your club, whilst you do nothing to contribute to theirs) and not having a go at them.
Is he talking about one incident or suggesting that all were bad? The problem is that he really doesn't know what he's talking about and is just jumping on the old jealousy bandwagon. If he can't provide a response, I wonder if he was even there.
A bit of advice - in your precarious position, concentrate on endearing yourselves to fans from real SL clubs rather than alienating yourselves.
There was one incident at the Hull FC game at Bridgend, where some FC fans were making jibes about the suicides in the local area. This caused a bit of trouble.
At the KR game, there was an incident between people in the hospitality boxes and the people on the terrace below. There was incident between your own fans, which I'm told was the stewards intervening in a family argument that looked like it was going to turn sour, and the level of stewards/police in the stands was increased far beyond what we had seen at any other home game.
It wasn't a jibe at anyone. Someone asked a simple question, and I gave an honest response. It could have been about Saints, Wigan or anyone... Did you expect me to say they were all wonderful people?
I didn't have any problems with Hull fans personally but I'm talking about incidents I saw and was told about by the stewards. Apologies for any offence.
Out of the estimated 1,300 rovers fans there appears to have been one family squabble and one drunken lout. Really, not a bad record, though we honestly wish this hadn't happened. Afterwards, in Bridgend the atmosphere between the fans was great. We wandered round the town for a couple of hours and EVERY Bridgend fan that we spoke to was complimentary. In the pub we sat with some of them and had a great night. Afterwards, we were up until 4am drinking with them. Absolutely no problems. When benefit matches are played at other clubs, Rovers is the first team they ask to play against because of the level of their travelling support. celtic were certainly one of the most exiting teams that we have encountered ... they tried .... and tried fairly.
PS A word of advice. Don't mention FC and Rovers in the same post. One team is on the up, the other is self destructing!

The great thing is that the Crusaders fans are extremely welcoming, partisan and passionate, dedicated and committed. The problem is you can be on first name terms with all of them before half time.
