A lot is being made of our run in being particularly difficult, especially from the fans of a certain other club, but it looks to me like Fax and Barrow have some tricky games of their own..

Personally I think Batley may take another scalp yet with both teams yet to visit mount pleasant and sheffield are no mugs at the Don Valley either.
Fev have proven how hard they can battle with a close encounter up at Barrow and Toulouse are not the proposition they were for the first game of the season.
Leigh will also be presumably trying to put together a few wins to get them away from the bottom so all in all it looks like a very interesting close to the season.
I'll put on the fixtures for Fev and Toulouse a little later on.

I think we've dropped too many points to catch Halifax & Barrow. We need to finish 3rd ahead of Toulouse & Fev so that we're at home for the first two play-off games - a play-off game away at Toulouse would be a tough one, for example.
I think it is a tough run-in and anything over 15 points would be a big plus.
And that would leave us up poop creak in about 6th and struggling to get to the GF ..
Hopefully we can get the NRC final boxed of and start assembling a squad for nextr year to push on for the top spot in the league, just in time for teh SL application....
Only the Doncaster game looks a pretty much certainty that we'll win. The games don't really get any harder than Toulouse, Barrow and Fax. IMO we'd be doing well if we can win 4 and take bonus points from the other 3. Anything better than that and we'd be flying.

I'd like to think that we might be able to win the three home games that we have left although Fax will be gunning for us now...
We will have to hope that someway we can trick the RFL into giving the game to Ronnie Laughton again and brief him on what penalties he should give us and where... other than that it is a foregone conclusion for a Fax win.
I would love to think that we have now turned a corner and will go unbeaten for the rest of the season but the long and short of it is that we will do well to win 4 of those games as V4E has said.
I guess the next two games will be good indicators of how we will go...
We should roll Donny over at home and then Barrow in the final will be the perfect yardstick for the rest of the season.

Dont forget that Fax have to play us twice yet
So a guaranteed 6 points and a 100 points difference in their favour there

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

You'd have to say Barrow have the easiest set of remaining fixtures.
The good thing from our POV is that Toulouse & Fev have to play each other twice, both have to go to Halifax, both play Barrow. Toulouse have got a tough run coming up - Fev, Halidax & Widnes at home, Fev & Barrow away. We could do with them dropping some points there.
